Jeremiah Slaczka
Jeremiah D Slaczka, also known by his nickname Miah, is an American video game designer/creative director and co-founder of 5th Cell, a video game developer in Bellevue, Washington. He is best known for being the concept creator and Director of ''Scribblenauts'' as well as the million-seller hit video game '' Drawn to Life'' and 5th Cell's critically acclaimed '' Lock's Quest'', all for the Nintendo DS. Slaczka is credited as the Director, Lead Designer, Story Writer, Original Concept Creator and Art Director for both ''Drawn to Life'' and ''Lock's Quest''. ''Scribblenauts'' was the first handheld game ever to win a "Best of Show Overall" award (across all platforms) at E3 from IGN, GameSpot and GameSpy. ''Scribblenauts Unlimited'' is a puzzle sandbox video game developed by 5th Cell and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android. It is the fourth title in the ''Scribblenauts'' series, as a launch title for the Wii U console. An alien race called the Variants compete with the surviving humans, called the Paladins, to collect a powerful substance known as dark matter. Gameplay Players choose between the Variant faction and the Paladin faction when they begin playing. The five included continents (Australia having been obliterated and Antarctica excluded) have been broken up into sections in which the two factions compete for dark matter. ''Run Roo Run'' is a platform video game developed and published by 5th Cell for iOS. It was released worldwide on January 12, 2012. The game was announced two days prior to its release, and is the second release from 5th Cell for the iOS platform. The game's plot revolves around a mother kangaroo in search of her captured joey. The game takes place in Australia, where Roo travels from Perth to Sydney. ''Run Roo Run'' is unique in its gameplay for modern platform games in that it is not a side-scrolling video game. Each level is a single screen that introduces a new element of complexity. For this reason, 5th Cell refers to the game's genre as "micro-platformer".
