Jeremiah Ledbetter
Jeremiah Ledbetter (born May 29, 1994) is an American football defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arkansas. High school career Ledbetter began his career at Olympia High School before transferring to Gainesville High School. College career Ledbetter began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in 2013, finishing there as an All-American in 2014, with 24.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks. He transferred to Arkansas and stepped in right away, making 55 tackles, 7.5 for loss, and two sacks as a junior in 2015. He topped those marks as a senior in 2016, with 5.5 sacks, and was credited with 49 total tackles, 7.5 for loss. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an " end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style. Fumble
A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player. A fumble may be forced by a defensive player who either grabs or punches the ball or butts the ball with their helmet (a move called "tackling the ball").
