Jens Bugge
Jens Bugge (10 May 1930 – 9 November 2014) was a Norwegian judge. He was born in Oslo as a son of barrister Wilhelm Bugge and brother of barrister Frederik Moltke Bugge. He was a grandson of barrister Fredrik Moltke Bugge, great-grandson of bishop Frederik Wilhelm Klumpp Bugge, great-great-grandson of educator Frederik Moltke Bugge and great-great-great-grandson of bishop Peter Olivarius Bugge. On the maternal side he was a great-grandson of bishop Johan Christian Heuch and second cousin of Hanne Heuch. He worked as a barrister with access to working with Supreme Court cases from 1965, as a presiding judge from 1978 to 1982 and a Supreme Court Justice from 1982 to 2000. He was a board member of the Norwegian Mountain Touring Association from 1969, and board chairman from 1975 to 1980. He chaired the Intelligence Oversight Committee from 1984 to 1988. Oslo
Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Hanne Heuch
Hanne Heuch (born 1 June 1954) is a Norwegian ceramist. She was born in Oslo, and is the great-granddaughter of bishop Johan Christian Heuch. She took her education at the Norwegian National Academy of Crafts and Design (now a part of the Bergen National Academy of the Arts) and Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry The National College of Art and Design () was established in 1818. Norwegian Mountain Touring Association
The Norwegian Trekking Association (, DNT) is a Norwegian association which maintains mountain trails and cabins in Norway. The association was founded on 21 January 1868 with the scope "to help and develop tourism in this country". Today the goal is to work for simple, secure and environmentally friendly outdoor activities. DNT has currently more than 300,000 individual members, and 57 local chapters. The Supreme Court of Norway ( Norwegian Bokmål: ; Norwegian Nynorsk: ; lit. 'Highest Court') is the highest court in the Norwegian judiciary. Johan Christian Heuch or J. C. Heuch (23 March 1838–13 February 1904) was a Norwegian bishop in the Church of Norway and politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. Personal life He was born in Kragerø, Norway as the son of merchant and politician Johan Christian Heuch, Sr., Johan Christian Heuch (1794–1843) and his wife Christine Elisabeth Bonnevie (1803–1863). His paternal grandfather Peter Andreas Heuch (1756–1825) was among the wealthiest persons in Southern Norway. Peter Olivarius Bugge
Peter Olivarius Bugge (2 December 1764 – 6 December 1849) was a Norwegian priest and politician. He was the bishop of the Diocese of Nidaros from 1804 until 1842. Biography Peter Olivarius Bugge was born at Holt in Nedenes county, Norway. He was the son of the parish priest Søren Bugge (1721–94) and Gidsken Edvardine Røring (1724–93). After four years of schooling in Bergen, he attended Kristiansand Cathedral School. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen (cand.theol. 1786, magister 1787). He was a priest in various parishes in Sjælland, Jylland, and Lista before being appointed to the post of Bishop of the Diocese of Trondhjem when he was only 40 years old in 1804. Bugge took part at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814 where a constitution was written. Frederik Moltke Bugge
Frederik Moltke Bugge (23 September 1806 – 9 July 1853) was a Norwegian philologist and educator. Early and personal life Bugge was born in Trondhjem as a son of bishop Peter Olivarius Bugge (1764–1849) and Cathrine Magdalene Koch (1771–1869). Bugge graduated from Trondhjem Cathedral School in 1823 and from the Royal Frederick University with the cand.philol. degree in 1829. In September 1831, in Christiania he married Anne Marie Magelssen (1811–1874). Their son Wilhelm Bugge became a bishop. Bugge was also uncle of Johannes Christian Piene and great-grandfather of Leif Vetlesen. Career Bugge was hired as principal at Trondhjem Cathedral School in 1833.
