is a '' shōjo'' manga written by Sukehiro Tomita and illustrated by Nao Yazawa that was originally serialized in Shogakukan's ''Ciao'' magazine. In North America, it was translated and published by VIZ Media in its entirety, consisting of six volumes. The manga was serialized in the Futabasha publication '' Weekly Manga Action'' from 1967 to 1970, then returned briefly in 1974. The story concerns Miléne Hoffman ("Mylene" in the English translation), a female cyborg who works as a secret agent. The Japanese title of the manga was ''009ノ1'', or "Zero Zero Ku-no-ichi", a pun on ''kunoichi'' (female ninja) and a reference to the main character's espionage occupation. The original manga was adapted into a live-action drama for Fuji Television in 1969 entitled ''Flower Action 009ノ1''. It was first released on May 28, 1999 for Windows with adult content, but re-released with it removed for the Dreamcast, Windows, and PSP. The main focus of the game is the creation of various dōjinshi by the player's character, during which there are varied opportunities to interact with a cast of girls. ''Comic Party'' is inspired from the real world event of Comiket (Comic Market) held in Tokyo each summer and winter. Dai-Guard
is an anime television series, produced and animated by XEBEC, and directed by Seiji Mizushima. It aired from October 5, 1999, to March 28, 2000, on TV Tokyo, running for 26 episodes. 6 volumes of videos were released on VHS and DVD. The series also had a very brief run (two episodes) on Cartoon Network through Toonami's "Giant Robot Week." The series is based around three office workers of the 21st Century Defense Security Corporation's Public Relations Division 2 who, with the company's giant robot, Dai-Guard, fight interdimensional alien beings called "Heterodynes". Unlike most giant robot anime, Dai-Guard performs on much more realistic physics, making it heavy, slow, and difficult to control. is a novel by Japanese author Ryōtarō Shiba. It dramatizes the life of Hijikata Toshizō, a member of the Shinsengumi, active in Japan during the ''bakumatsu'' (the end of the Tokugawa shogunate). The names of the various troupes/divisions of the ''Imperial Combat Revue'' (e.g., flower, star, moon, wind) are modeled on those of the ''Takarazuka Kagekidan'' (Takarazuka Revue).
