Jennix
The Inheritors are a supervillain group which appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The family of Morlun, they typically are enemies of Spider-Man and the iterations of him. Publication history The Inheritors, who made their first appearance in ''The Superior Spider-Man'' #33 as part of the "Spider-Verse" storyline, were created by Christos Gage and M. A. Sepulveda, based on the Ancients, an earlier version of Morlun's family introduced in the 2006 novel '' Spider-Man: The Darkest Hours'', written by Jim Butcher. "Spider-Geddon" again depicts the Inheritors; Gage said, "They’re terrific villains – they literally eat spider-people! They’re like vampires who feed on their life forces. Spider-Verse
"Spider-Verse" is a 2014– 15 comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics. It features multiple alternative versions of Spider-Man that had appeared in various media, all under attack by Morlun and his family, the Inheritors. The event was touted as including every single living spider-powered individual created up to that point, while also introducing many new ones. There were several notable exceptions however, such as the Spider-Man from the television series ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'' unable to appear due to copyright restrictions. The comic book series received generally positive reviews. Following the conclusion of the event in ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #14, several characters introduced in it such as Spider-Gwen, the Spider-Woman of Earth-65, were featured in titles of their own. Spider-Geddon
''Spider-Geddon'' is a 2018 comic book limited series and crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics featuring multiple alternative versions of Spider-Man that had appeared in various media, and his supporting cast. In this sequel to '' Spider-Verse'', the Inheritors have found a way out of the decimated world they were imprisoned on and are now determined to take their revenge on the Spider-Army and feed on them once again. Publication history The story was first announced with blank teaser posters, with the tagline "Spider-Geddon is nigh". It was eventually revealed that the story would feature several alternate versions of Spider-Man and his related characters, like the previous crossover event, '' Spider-Verse''. Morlun () is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by J. Michael Straczynski and John Romita Jr., the character first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' vol. 2 #30 (June 2001). Morlun is a central foe of all the themed versions of Spider-Man, being one of their most powerful and dangerous adversaries. He is an entity from Earth-001 that hunts all the Spider-Totems by traveling to the many multiverses of Marvel Comics.
