Jennifer Blake (author)
Patricia Maxwell (born Patricia Anne Ponder; March 9, 1942, near Goldonna, Louisiana), is an American writer. A member of the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame and the ''Affaire de Coeur'' Romance Hall of Fame, Maxwell has received numerous awards for her writing. Her first novel in the romance genre, ''Love's Wild Desire'', became a New York Times Bestseller. Maxwell has published books under five different names. Using her real name, Patricia Maxwell, she wrote Gothic mystery-suspense romances. She wrote one book in collaboration with Carol Albritton that was published under the name Elizabeth Trehearne. Under her maiden name, Patricia Ponder, she wrote a murder mystery and a romantic suspense story. As Maxine Patrick, she wrote contemporary romances, and historical romances. she wrote as Jennifer Blake. Many of her books are set in her native Louisiana. Hannah Howell
Hannah Dustin Howell (born 1950 in Massachusetts) is an American author of over 40 historical romance novels, many of which are set in medieval Scotland. She also writes under the names Sarah Dustin, Sandra Dustin, and Anna Jennet. Biography Howell is descended from some of the original American colonists, with her maternal ancestors settling in Massachusetts in the 1630s. While on a trip to England, Howell met her husband, aeronautical engineer Stephen, and they have been married for over forty years. They have two sons, Samuel and Keir, three grandchildren, and five cats. Howell was a housewife and stay-at-home mother before beginning to write. Susan Wiggs (born May 17, 1958) is an American author of historical and contemporary romance novels. Early years Wiggs began writing as a child, finishing her first novel, ''A Book About Some Bad Kids'', when she was eight. She temporarily abandoned her dream of being a novelist after graduating from Harvard University, instead becoming a math teacher. She continued to read, especially reveling in romance novels. Betty Lee Duran (March 10, 1939 – September 11, 2022) was an American writer of romance novels. She started writing as Ruth Jean Dale, and now then wrote as Lee Duran. Ruth Jean Dale's books have been translated into many foreign languages, including French, Spanish, German, Polish, Greek, Italian, Russian and Chinese. She has made frequent appearances on romance best seller lists, and was nominated a "Top Ten Favorite Author" by ''Affaire de Coeur'' magazine.
