Jeju Stadium
The Jeju Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Jeju City, Jeju-do, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used by K League team Jeju United between 2007 and 2010. The stadium has a capacity of 20,053 people and was opened in 1968. Jeju City ( ko, 제주시, Jeju-si; ) is the capital of the Jeju Province in South Korea and the largest city on Jeju Island. The city is served by Jeju International Airport ( IATA code CJU). Jeju United Football Club (Hangul: 제주 유나이티드) is a South Korean professional football club based in Jeju Province that competes in the K League 1, the top division in South Korea. In the past, the club has been known as the ''Yukong Elephants'' and ''Bucheon SK''. History An original member of the K League founded on 17 December 1982, the team was then called the Yukong Elephants. The 2017 AFC Champions League knockout stage was played from 22 May to 25 November 2017. A total of 16 teams competed in the knockout stage to decide the champions of the 2017 AFC Champions League. The 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 21st edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship.
