Jefry Mohammad
Jefry bin Mohammad (born 13 June 1967) is a Bruneian retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper for the Brunei M-League representative team. Jefry was the third-choice goalkeeper for Brunei in the late nineties as the pair of Yunos Yusof and Ibrahim Abu Bakar were the two established shot-stoppers for the Wasps since the mid-eighties. Yunos retired in 1999 and Ibrahim followed suit in 2000, which meant that Jefry became the first-choice goalkeeper for the national team at the turn of the century. International career Jefry was the goalkeeper for Brunei at the 20th SEA Games held for the first (and so far only) time in his home country. The Wasps failed to advance to the semi-final stage. This was followed by the 2000 AFC Asian Cup qualification held in Macau where Jefry conceded nine goals against Japan. The Malaysian football league system, also known as the Malaysian football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in Malaysia. Moksen bin Mohammad is a Bruneian former international Association football, footballer and current coach. He previously played for the Brunei (Malaysia Premier League team), Brunei national representative team in the M-League as a Forward (association football), forward. Playing and coaching career Moksen represented Brunei in the Malaysian league from 1992 until 1999, he played sparingly for the Wasps as he was often overlooked for Rosanan Samak, Suni Mat Jerah, Said Abdullah as well as the prolific import duo of Brian Bothwell and Raphael Patron Akakpo. Moksen retired from the team after winning the 1999 Malaysia Cup, one of seven players to do so. Moksen soon took up coaching and steered Kasuka FC to becoming district league champions in 2000, as well as beating a very young Brunei DPMM FC, DPMM FC to domestic silverware the following year.
