Jeffrey Webb (football Executive)
Jeffrey D. Webb (born 24 September 1964) is the former president of CONCACAF and Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA), and former vice president of FIFA. Webb was arrested for corruption charges on 27 May 2015 by Swiss police at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice on charges of racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering conspiracy. He pleaded guilty in November 2015. In May 2015, he was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee. Career Webb was educated at King High School and Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, Florida, in the United States. His career in football spans almost three decades. He was appointed as President of the Cayman Islands Football Association in 1991. The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. The country was chosen as the host nation by FIFA for the second time in the history of the tournament (the first was in 1938), defeating Morocco in the bidding process. It was the ninth time that it was held in Europe. Spanning 32 days, it was the longest World Cup tournament ever held. Qualification for the finals began in March 1996 and concluded in November 1997. Eugenio Figueredo
Eugenio Hermes Figueredo Aguerre (born 10 March 1932 in Santa Lucía, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan and American association football executive and former footballer. In May 2015, he was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee. Biography As a footballer, Figueredo played for Huracan Buceo as a right-half. He went on to serve as its president between 1971 and 1972, and again between 1976 and 77. From 1997–2006, he presided over the Uruguayan Football Association, and from 1993 until 2013 he was vice president of CONMEBOL. In April 2013 he replaced Nicolás Leoz as President. On 27 May 2015, Figueredo was arrested in Switzerland as the result of an FBI investigation into corruption in FIFA. Eduardo Li Sánchez ( zh, s=爱德华多·李·桑切斯, p=Àidéhuáduō·lǐ·sāngqièsī, born 11 November 1958) is a Costa Rican football administrator, FIFA executive committee member-elect, CONCACAF executive committee member, and former Costa Rican Football Federation (FEDEFUT) president. He co-founded Puntarenas F.C. with Adrián Castro Velásquez in June 2004. His paternal Chinese grandfather immigrated to Costa Rica in 1920. Li is involved in the 2015 FIFA corruption case, and was arrested in May 2015 in Switzerland to face corruption charges in the US. Li was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee. Garcia Report
The Garcia Report was an investigation produced by U.S. lawyer Michael J. Garcia into allegations of corruption in world football. On 17 July 2012, in the wake of announced anti-corruption reforms by Sepp Blatter, the president of the world association football governing body FIFA, the organization appointed Garcia as the chairman of the investigative chamber of FIFA Ethics Committee, while German judge Hans-Joachim Eckert was appointed as the chairman of the Ethics Committee's adjudication chamber.
