Jeffrey Lesser (producer)
Jeffrey Lesser (born in New York City) is a music producer for Nickelodeon. He has received ten Emmy Award nominations for his work on '' Wonder Pets!'', winning four of them. Lesser was a music director and producer at Little Airplane Productions for thirteen years. He has produced records for Barbra Streisand ('' Lazy Afternoon'') and Loudon Wainwright III (''History''), among others. Biography Jeffrey Lesser was born on the Upper West Side of New York City, where he also began his career. Lesser joined Little Airplane Productions in 2003 to work on later episodes of '' Oobi'' and soon became the company's musical director, composing all pieces for Little Airplane series ''3rd & Bird'', '' Small Potatoes'', ''P. ''Small Potatoes'' is an Animation, animated pre-school series written and directed by Josh Selig (creator of ''Oobi (TV series), Oobi'', ''Wonder Pets!'' and ''3rd & Bird''). It was produced by Little Airplane Productions from its second studio in London. The show features a group of four potatoes—Olaf, Ruby, Nate, and Chip—who sing songs. Jason Robert Brown (born June 20, 1970) is an American musical theatre composer, lyricist, and playwright. Brown's music sensibility fuses pop-rock stylings with theatrical lyrics. ''Parade'' is a musical with a book by Alfred Uhry and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. The musical is a dramatization of the 1913 trial and imprisonment, and 1915 lynching, of Jewish American Leo Frank in Georgia. The Last Five Years
''The Last Five Years'' is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown. It premiered at Chicago's Northlight Theatre in 2001 and was then produced Off-Broadway in March 2002. Since then it has had numerous productions both in the United States and internationally. The story explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which Jamie's story is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met) and Cathy's story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect. In 2023, the musical will premiere in its first ever production in Greece, at the alternative stage of the Greek National Opera House.
