Jeffrey Fayman
Jeffrey Fayman is an American percussionist and composer, best known for his soundtrack work. Biography In 1977, Fayman drummed in Peter Banks' Empire band, the sessions appearing on the archival ''Mark II'' release in 1997. Fayman has collaborated with King Crimson's Robert Fripp on various occasions, starting with the 2000 album ''A Temple In The Clouds'',. Following that release, Fripp performed as a guest on the Steve Roach & Jeffrey Fayman release ''Trance Spirits'' (2002). A later collaboration between Fayman and Fripp was The Human Experimente, re-interpreting early King Crimson music. A single of "21st Century Schizoid Man" was released in 2009 and work was reportedly ongoing on an album, also with Billy Sherwood. Peter Banks
Peter William Brockbanks (15 July 1947 – 7 March 2013), known professionally as Peter Banks, was a British guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer. He was the original guitarist in the rock band Yes, and also the Syn, Flash, and Empire. Former ''Sniffin' Glue'' and ''NME'' journalist Danny Baker described Banks as "the architect of progressive music". Biography Early life Banks' father was an optical mechanic and his mother a cleaner. He grew up in Barnet, North London, where he attended Barnet Secondary School and Barnet College of Further Education. When he was a young boy, his father bought him an acoustic guitar. As a teenager, he also learned how to play the banjo. King Crimson
King Crimson are a progressive rock band formed in 1968 in London, England. Robert Fripp
Robert Fripp (born 16 May 1946) is a British musician, songwriter, record producer, and author, best known as the guitarist, founder and longest-lasting member of the progressive rock band King Crimson. He has worked extensively as a session musician and collaborator, notably with David Bowie, Blondie, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall, Midge Ure, Talking Heads, and David Sylvian. Steve Roach (born February 16, 1955) is an American composer and performer of ambient and electronic music, whose recordings are informed by his impressions of environment, perception, flow and space. His work has been influential in the trance and new-age genres. 21st Century Schizoid Man
"21st Century Schizoid Man" is a song by the progressive rock band King Crimson from their 1969 debut album ''In the Court of the Crimson King''. Often regarded as the group's signature song, it has been described by sources such as Rolling Stone as "a seven-and-a-half-minute statement of purpose: rock power, jazz spontaneity, and classical precision harnessed in the service of a common aim." Lyrical content The lyrics of "21st Century Schizoid Man" were written by Peter Sinfield and consist chiefly of disconnected phrases which present a series of images. All three verses follow a set pattern in presenting these images. The song criticizes the Vietnam War with the lyrics "Politicians' funeral pyre/Innocence raped with napalm fire". Billy Sherwood
William Wyman Sherwood (born March 14, 1965) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, record producer and mixing engineer. He is best known for his tenures in the English progressive rock band Yes as guitarist and keyboardist from 1997 to 2000 and as bassist since 2015, following the death of original bassist Chris Squire. He is known for working with former and current Yes members on other projects as well. In addition to his involvement with Yes, Sherwood is the frontman of progressive rock groups World Trade, Circa and formerly Lodgic. In 2017, he joined Asia after the death of original singer and bassist John Wetton. Globus is a Santa Monica-based movie trailer music-inspired band consisting of a mix of producers, musicians, and vocalists. The band is led by composer and producer Yoav Goren. History Foundation Globus was founded as a result of increasing demand for Immediate Music to make their work available for a wider audience. Yoav Goren ( he, יואב גורן) is an Israeli-American musician, composer, and record producer specializing in soundtracks and trailer music for films and television series. He was one of the founders of Immediate Music, 1 Revolution Music, and Imperativa Records. Born in Israel, Goren was raised in New York City by an artistic family that encouraged him to study piano at a young age. He was influenced initially by classical composers, then by the Beatles and by film composers Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Barry.
