Jeffrey De Lange
Jeffrey de Lange (born 1 April 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Marseille. Career De Lange is a youth product of Ajax, and began his career as the reserve goalkeeper at Jong Ajax. On 14 April 2017, he transferred to FC Twente. He made his professional debut with Twente in a 3–1 KNVB Cup loss to De Graafschap on 27 October 2020. Go Ahead Eagles () are a Dutch professional football club from the city of Deventer. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, having achieved promotion from the second tier Eerste Divisie in the 2020-21 season. 2015–16 Eerste Divisie
The 2015–16 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixtieth season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2015 with the first matches of the season and ended in May 2016 with the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2015–16 Eredivisie. This season was the last where promotion and relegation was optional. No club was relegated to the new third-tier division Tweede Divisie (Second Division). This change in the league system was approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014. Thus, the Topklasse and leagues below it were reduced by one level, and furthermore, promotion and relegation between the Eerste Divisie and Tweede Divisie became mandatory from 2016–17. Johan Cruijff Shield
The Johan Cruyff Shield (, ) is a football trophy in the Netherlands named after Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff, also often referred to as the Dutch Super Cup. The winner is decided in one match only, played by the winner of the national football league, Eredivisie, and the winner of the national KNVB Cup. In the event of a team winning both the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield will be contested between that team and the runner up in the national league. 2023–24 Eredivisie The 2023–24 Eredivisie is the 68th season of Eredivisie, the premier football competition in the Netherlands. It began on 11 August 2023 and will conclude on 19 May 2024. Since Netherlands ascended from seventh to sixth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of 2022–23 season, the three best-ranked teams could now qualify for the UEFA Champions League (the champions and runners-up entered directly into the league stage, and the third placed team entered the third qualifying round).
