Jeff VanCamp
Jeff Van Camp (born September 9, 1987) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Florida Atlantic University, under head coach Howard Schnellenberger, as well as high school football at Navarre High School in Navarre, Florida. High school Van Camp's junior year campaign was halted by the effect that Hurricane Ivan had on the Navarre community. Forced to assist with his family's needs, his football season would be cut short. During his senior year, Van Camp lead the Navarre Raiders to a 4-8 team record that was plagued by inconsistency from a young core. In a pro-style double-wing formation offense, Van Camp was able to put together a 997 yards, 5 TDs season over 10 games in which earned him an invitation to the local area's highschool all-star game. Motor City Bowl
The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (known as the Motor City Bowl until 2009) was a post-season college football bowl game that was played annually from 1997 to 2013. The first five games (1997–2001) were played at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, and moved to the 65,000-seat Ford Field in downtown Detroit, Michigan in 2002—the past and present homes of the Detroit Lions respectively. Navarre is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County in the northwest Florida Panhandle. It is a major bedroom community for mostly U.S. military personnel, federal civil servants, local population, retirees and defense contractors. Gulf Breeze is a city in Santa Rosa County, Florida. It is a suburb of Pensacola, and is in the Pensacola Metropolitan Area. The population estimate was 6,900 in 2020. Gulf Breeze is located just north of Pensacola Beach, and south of Pensacola. Gulf Breeze is on the Fairpoint Peninsula, and is bordered by Navarre to the east. The Troy Trojans football program represents Troy University at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, where it has competed since 2001.
