Jeff Forrest is an American recording engineer. Bio and career Jeff Forrest was born in Flint, Michigan, and attended Central Michigan University and The Berklee College of Music. Jeff Forrest is a recording engineer from the San Diego area who is most known for engineering Blink-182's first album ''Cheshire Cat (Blink-182 album)''. He is also credited for co-writing Blink-182's song " Wasting Time". Jeff Forrest owns Doubletime Recording Studio in San Diego, CA and has worked on records for regional bands such as Rocket From the Crypt, Fluf, Jejune, Jack's Broken Heart, No Gimmick and Kill Holiday. Forrest's most recent work is with the band 'Pink Yacht Club'. Forrest moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles in the late 1980s looking to catch on with the music industry. ''Buddha'' is a demo album by the American rock band Blink-182. Recorded and released in January 1994 under the name Blink, it was the band's first recording to be sold and distributed. The band had recorded two previous demos in drummer Scott Raynor's bedroom—''Flyswatter'' and ''Demo No.2''—using a four track recorder. Most of the tracks from ''Buddha'' were re-recorded for the band's subsequent releases; seven were re-recorded for their debut album '' Cheshire Cat'' and one was re-recorded for their second album '' Dude Ranch''. Cattle Decapitation
Cattle Decapitation is an American deathgrind band formed in San Diego, California, in 1996. The band's current lineup includes vocalist Travis Ryan, guitarists Josh Elmore and Belisario Dimuzio, and drummer David McGraw. Since 2001, none of the founding members remain with the band. Despite not being in the original lineup, Ryan and Elmore are the only constant members on all of Cattle Decapitation's eight studio albums. History Cattle Decapitation was formed in 1996 by singer Scott Miller, guitarist Gabe Serbian, and drummer Dave Astor. The band put out their first material in 1996 with a demo called ''Ten Torments of the Damned.'' Scott Miller left the band in circa 1997 and Travis Ryan joined the band. Gregory Page (born April 28, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Biography Page is the son of a traveling Armenian pop singer whom he would not meet for over 40 years. His Irish mother was the lead singer/saxophone player in one of Britain's first all-girl groups, The Beat-Chics, that toured with The Beatles. Born in North London, England, he was a shy boy, fond of books and pictures, a solitary rambler in the woods and fields around his country home in England. At age fourteen he went to America, and for the next 5 years he wrote poetry and learned to play the guitar. During this time he got to know music intimately. Buck-O-Nine
Buck-O-Nine is an American ska punk band which was formed in San Diego in 1991. The band has toured internationally and released several albums and EPs, as well as appearing on compilations and film soundtracks. During the mid-to-late 1990s, they experienced mainstream success with the release of the album '' Twenty-Eight Teeth'' and its most successful single, "My Town". As the popularity of third-wave ska waned, Buck-O-Nine stopped touring full-time in 2000, but continues to perform regularly throughout California and much of the Southwestern United States. ''Songs in the Key of Bree'' is the debut studio album by Buck-O-Nine, originally released in 1994 on Immune Records, and subsequently re-released on Taang! Records in 1996. This album consists of many of the songs that the band wrote over a period of two years as it played numerous gigs in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona, and saw its regional following swell in numbers. After a gig supporting Skankin' Pickle, the band was encouraged by then-sax-player Mike "Bruce Lee" Park to start touring. Booking agents told the band they would need to have a CD released before they should consider touring nationally, so they promptly entered the studio. During the recording process, Immune Records offered to release the album through a two-year licensing deal, and one week after the album's release, Buck-O-Nine began its first national tour, filling the support slot on the "Skamaggedon" tour, opening up for ska veterans Gangster Fun and MU330. Deadbolt is an American rock band from San Diego, California. Fusing rockabilly and surf music with tongue-in-cheek horror-themed lyrics, Deadbolt has called itself the "scariest band in the world", classifying their musical style as "voodoobilly". History The band originally formed in 1988 as a trio, featuring guitarist and vocalist Harley Davidson, bassist and vocalist Robert "RA" MacLean and drummer Les Vegas.
