Jeff Denman
Jeff Denman (born 14 June 1943) is an Australian former rugby league player. A speedy three-quarter from Ipswich, Denman was a Queensland Queensland ( , commonly abbreviated as Qld) is a States and territories of Australia, state in northeastern Australia, and is the second-largest and third-most populous state in Australia. After coming close to signing with Cronulla-Sutherland in 1969, Denman went on to feature as a winger for Eastern Suburbs in their 1972 Brisbane Rugby League grand final win over Fortitude Valley. Queensland State Rugby League Team
The Queensland rugby league team represents the Australian state of Queensland in rugby league football. Nicknamed the "Maroons" after the colour of their jersey, they play three times a year against arch-rivals New South Wales in the State of Origin series. The team is currently coached by Billy Slater and is captained by Cameron Munster, and is administered by the Queensland Rugby League. They play all of their home matches at Brisbane's Lang Park (known due to naming rights as Suncorp Stadium). The Brisbane Tigers are a rugby league club based at Langlands Park, in the suburb of Coorparoo in Brisbane, Australia. Since 1996, they have competed in the Queensland Cup, having competed in the Brisbane Rugby League premiership (rugby league competition), Brisbane Rugby League from 1934 to 1997, where they won eight premierships.
