Jeff Cripps
Jeff Cripps is an Australian recording engineer and award winning music producer,recording over 300 Albums, both for many local bands within New South Wales as well as throughout Australia and internationally. Many see him solely as a producer of great blues music (because of the many blues related awards he has received, Producer of the Year 3 times) though he can and has recorded many styles for a variety of bands. Jeff almost always works out of the ASharp Recording Studio in Sydney, NSW though he also does a copious amount of live events, playing and mixing. Over the years Jeff has worked with and produced works for several big bands and artists including The Vines, Fred Smith, Disney (Discovering Nimo) The Wolverines, Mortal Sin, Anglican Youth Works, Cursed Legacy, Throwdown, The D4, James Blundell Ray Beadle, The Atlantics and John Da Silva. The Vines (band)
The Vines are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1994. Their sound has been described as a musical hybrid of 1960s garage rock and 1990s alternative rock. The band has been through several line-up changes, with vocalist/guitarist Craig Nicholls serving as the sole constant throughout the band's history. Cask J. Thomson is a Scottish-born, Australian-based musician, producer, and designer known for his work in progressive rock and synth-pop. His notable projects include ''CASK'', ''HELIXIRx'', and ''Empty Triangles''. He heads the independent label AudioDefine Records and its sublabel Same Great Sound, which focuses on pop and electronic music. He also runs CASKaudio, providing a range of sample packs, impulse responses, and sound design tools for musicians and producers. Throwdown is an American Hardcore punk, hardcore and heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Orange County, California. Formed in 1997, the band has endured numerous lineup changes to the point where no original members remain. The D4
The D4 were a rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. Their music was released by Hollywood Records in the U.S., Flying Nun Records in New Zealand and by Infectious Records in the UK. The group was assembled by vocalist/guitarists Dion Palmer and Jimmy Christmas, who put together a collection of songs and built a four-piece combo, featuring founding members English Jake and Rich Mixture, during late 1998 and started playing at the Frisbee Leisure Lounge parties along Symonds Street, followed shortly thereafter by inner city pub gigs. James Blundell (singer)
James Blundell (born 8 December 1964) is an Australian country music singer. Born in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Blundell first rose to prominence after being named "best new talent" at the 1987 Country Music Awards of Australia. Blundell has since released several albums in both Australia and the United States, with his most successful album '' This Road'' (released in 1992) selling more than 145,000 copies in Australia. Blundell was an unsuccessful candidate for the Senate in Queensland at the 2013 federal election, running for Katter's Australian Party. The Atlantics
The Atlantics are an Australian surf band founded in 1961. Initially, the band line-up consisted of drummer Peter Hood, bassist Bosco Bosanac, Theo Penglis on lead and rhythm guitar, and guitarist Eddy Matzenik. Ol' 55 (band)
Ol' 55 are an Australian band specialising in retro, 1950s-era Rock 'n' Roll. They formed as Fanis in 1972 in Sutherland Shire, Sutherland, Sydney. Drummer Geoff Plummer was working with Glenn A. Baker at the NSW Department of Media and invited Baker to hear his part-time band, including Patrick "Meatballs" Drummond, Rockpile Jones and Jimmy Manzie. In 1975, Baker took on their band manager, management, renamed them as Ol' 55 for the Tom Waits song, and recruited Lead vocalist#Frontperson, front man Frankie J. Holden and, later in the year, saxophonist Wilbur Wilde.
