Jeff Canoy
Jefry "Jeff" Corullo Canoy (; born August 6, 1984) is a Filipino journalist and documentary filmmaker who covers armed conflicts, disasters, law enforcement and defense. He is currently the Chief of Reporters for ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs and news anchor of TV Patrol Express. Canoy is recognized as a multi-awarded Filipino journalist. In recent years, some of his wins includes a Gold World Medal (2018) and Bronze World Medal (2020) at the New York Festivals TV and Film Awards, a Gold Dolphin at the 2018 Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards and First Prize in the English Essay category at the 2018 Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. DWPM (630 AM), previously branded as Radyo 630, was a radio station owned by Philippine Collective Media Corporation and operated conjointly with ABS-CBN Corporation under Media Serbisyo Production Corporation. The station's studio was located at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, corner of Mother Ignacia Street, Barangay South Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City; its transmitter was located along F. Navarette Street, Barangay Panghulo, Obando, Bulacan. The Balangiga massacre was an incident in which the residents of the town of Balangiga on the island of Samar conducted a surprise attack on an occupying unit of the US 9th Infantry, killing 54.
