Jeff Bridges (politician)
Jeff Bridges is an American politician serving as a member of the Colorado Senate from the 26th district. Located in Arapahoe County, the district includes parts of Aurora, Englewood, Sheridan, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, and Littleton. Bridges previously served on the Senate Education Committee and Senate Local Government Committee. He currently serves as the Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and sits on the Joint Budget Committee and the Legislative Interim Committee on School Finance. Early life and education Bridges grew up in Colorado and graduated from Arapahoe High School in Centennial. Colorado's 26th Senate District
Colorado's 26th Senate district is one of 35 districts in the Colorado Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Jeff Bridges since 2019, following the resignation of fellow Democrat Daniel Kagan. Geography District 26 covers many of Denver's immediate southern suburbs in Arapahoe County, including Cherry Hills Village, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Sheridan, Columbine Valley, most of Littleton, and a small part of western Aurora. The district is split between Colorado's 1st and 6th congressional districts, and overlaps with the 3rd, 38th, 40th, and 41st districts of the Colorado House of Representatives. Kenneth Lee Salazar (born March 2, 1955) is an American lawyer, politician, and diplomat who served as United States ambassador to Mexico from 2021 to 2025.
