Jeet (1949 Film)
''Jeet'' is a 1949 Hindi drama film directed by Mohan Sinha and produced by Pratap A. Rana. Plot India has finally won independence from British rule, and there are signs of progress among the population. In a village, two childhood sweethearts, namely Jeet and Vijay live. Vijay lives with his mother and brother Ratan. When Ratan, who lives abroad, returns home to India, he brings all new ideas of progress and advancement. These ideas are not met well with some of the villagers, including Jeet and Vijay themselves. Ratan overhears a conversation that Vijay is not his real brother, and asks Vijay to leave the house, despite his mother's protests. ''Jeet'' () is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed and produced by Adurthi Subba Rao. It was a remake of his own 1967 Telugu film '' Poola Rangadu'', which itself was based on the novel '' Beyond This Place'' by A. J. Cronin's novel. Plot Ratan (Randhir Kapoor) is an illiterate horse carriage driver, who has dedicated his life to provide for his sister, Padma (Hina Kauser) education. He meets with a gypsy girl Koyli (Babita), and falls for her. She eventually also falls in love with him. Her brother, Shankar (Roopesh Kumar) is smitten by Padma, but Ratan will not hear of him marrying his sister. Padma does finish her education with honors, and goes off to the city to attend college, there she meets with rich and wealthy Prasad (Jateen) and both fall in love. Jeetendra Madnani (born 30 November 1978), mononymously known as Jeet, is an Indian actor, film producer and television presenter who is primarily known for his work in Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema. He owns the production houses Grassroot Entertainment and Jeetz Filmworks. Since 2022, he is the executive president of West Bengal Motion Picture Artists' Forum. Jeet Gannguli (, born Chandrajeet Ganguly, on 24 May 1977), is an Indian playback singer and composer who works in Hindi and Bengali language, Bengali cinema. Early life and education Born in a Kulin Bengali Brahmin family, Gannguli was initiated into the world of music at the age of three. He was a student of Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School from where he completed his schooling. Later he graduated from the University of Calcutta.
