Founded in 2019, the Quincy Institute has been described as advocating realism and restraint in foreign policy. The organization is located in Washington, D.C., and is named after former US president John Quincy Adams. History The Quincy Institute was co-founded by Andrew Bacevich, a former US Army officer who fought in the Vietnam War and later became a professor of history at Boston University.
