Jeanette Aw Ee-Ping (born 28 June 1979), also known as Ou Xuan, is a Singaporean actress, host, filmmaker, businesswoman and writer. Aw was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006, after which she achieved wider success with her leading role in acclaimed drama ''The Little Nyonya''. Jeanette Biedermann (born Jean Biedermann, 22 February 1980) is a German singer, actress, and television personality. Jeanette Ruth Einstein Jena (1896 – October 10, 1971) was an American arts patron and journalist. She was art critic for the ''Pittsburgh Post-Gazette'' for over thirty years, from 1935 to 1969. Early life and education Einstein was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Jacob R. Einstein and Augusta Cohen Einstein. Her family was Jewish; her father was a bank president, and her mother founded "one of the first kindergartens in western Pennsylvania". Einstein graduated from Vassar College in 1917. Madame Jeanette
Madame Jeanette is a chili pepper cultivar of the species '' Capsicum chinense'', originally from Suriname. The fruits are shaped like small bell peppers. Madame Jeanette chilis are very hot, rated 125,000–325,000 on the Scoville scale. The peppers ripen to reddish-yellow, similar to Scotch Bonnet peppers, but are larger and not symmetrical. Its flavour is described as "fruity", with hints of mango and pineapple. It is often confused with the yellow adjuma, which is less elongated and said to be spicier but less flavourful. Madame Jeanette is used in almost all facets of Surinamese cuisine. The plant is prolific, has relatively compact growth, dislikes cool sites, and will also grow indoors. The Jeanette State Forest is a state forest located in St. Louis County, Minnesota. The forest is within the limits of the Superior National Forest's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and thus falls under the federal jurisdiction and management of the United States Forest Service. Camping is available in the Superior National Forest at the Lake Jeanette Campground. Originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the campground is located in a stand of pine and northern hardwoods overlooking Lake Jeanette. USS ''Jeannette'' was a naval exploration vessel which, commanded by George W. De Long, undertook the ''Jeannette'' expedition of 1879–1881 to the Arctic. After being trapped in the ice and drifting for almost two years, the ship and her crew of 33 were released from the ice, then trapped again, crushed and sunk some 300 nautical miles (560 km; 350 mi) north of the Siberian coast. The entire crew survived the sinking, but eight died while sailing towards land in a small cutter. The others reached Siberia, but 12 subsequently perished in the Lena Delta, including De Long. The vessel had begun her active career in 1861 as HMS ''Pandora'', a Royal Navy gunboat. After more than a decade's service off the West African coast and in the Mediterranean, ''Pandora'' was retired from duty and sold as a private yacht to a British explorer, Allen Young.
