Jean-Claude Dauphin
Jean-Claude Dauphin ( né Legrand; born 16 March 1948) is a French actor who is primarily known for national movie productions in France. He is an uncle to American actors Griffin Newman and James Newman as well as to chef Romilly Newman. Biography He is the son of actor Claude Dauphin and actress Maria Mauban, the grandson of the poet Maurice Étienne Legrand and nephew host Jean Nohain, his father's brother. At Lycée Paul-Valéry in Paris, he studied in the class of Latinist Bernard Mortureux, a specialist in Seneca. "Souvenirs" is a song written by Cy Coben and originally recorded and released by American singer Barbara Evans backed by Canadian composer Mort Garson and his Orchestra, the song was released in April 1959. The song failed to chart, peaking at 111 in the Bubbling Under Hot 100 in June 1959. Two successful non-English covers would follow, such as in German by expatriate American singer Bill Ramsey in June of that same year (peaking at Number 1 in West Germany in September 1959), and the most successful in French by French singer Johnny Hallyday, released in June 1960. Alain Corneau
Alain Corneau (7 August 1943 – 30 August 2010) was a French film director and writer. Corneau was born in Meung-sur-Loire, Loiret. Originally a musician, he worked with Costa-Gavras as an assistant, which was also his first opportunity to work with the actor Yves Montand, with whom he would collaborate three times later in his career, including '' Police Python 357'' (1976) and '' La Menace'' (1977). He directed Gérard Depardieu in the screen adaptation of '' Tous les matins du monde'' in 1991.
