''X-Men: The 198'' is a comic book Limited series (comics), limited series that was published by Marvel Comics and set in the Marvel Universe shortly after the ''House of M'' and ''Decimation (comics), Decimation'' events. The five-issue series began publication in January 2006. The series focuses on the supporting cast of the X-Men, whose ranks have been severely depleted following ''Decimation''. Morlocks are a group of mutant characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The characters are usually depicted as being associated with the X-Men in the Marvel Universe.
