Jays (Boston Celtics)
The Jays are a duo of American basketball players, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, who play professionally for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). They were both drafted by the Celtics with the third overall pick, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Considered one of the best duos in the league, Brown and Tatum are both NBA All-Stars. They have led the Celtics to six Eastern Conference Finals, two NBA Finals, and one NBA championship. Jaylen Marselles Brown (born October 24, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played one year of college basketball for the California Golden Bears and was named first-team all-conference and Freshman of the Year in the Pac-12 Conference. Declaring for the 2016 NBA draft after his freshman season, Brown was selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick. As a professional, he has split his time between shooting guard and small forward. Brown is a four-time NBA All-Star and reached the Eastern Conference finals six times with Boston. The 2018–19 Boston Celtics season was the 73rd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the playoffs, the Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers in the First Round. The 2021–22 Boston Celtics season was the 76th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). NBA Play-in Tournament
The NBA play-in tournament is the preliminary National Basketball Association (NBA) postseason tournament. It determines the final two playoff seeds in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference and is played immediately prior to the NBA playoffs, which is the main tournament of the postseason and regarded by the league as separate from the play-in tournament. Teams finishing the regular season in positions 7 through 10 in the standings for each conference compete to determine the number 7 and 8 seeds in each conference's bracket tournament. The 2021 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition basketball game played on March 7, 2021, during the National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2020–21 season. It was the 70th edition of the NBA All-Star Game, and was hosted at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, home of the Atlanta Hawks. In basketball, a double-double is a single-game performance in which a player accumulates ten or more in two of the following five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots. The first "double" in the term refers to the two (''double'') categories and the second "double" refers to accumulating ten or more (typically ''double'' digits) in that category. The 2020 NBA playoffs was the postseason tournament of the National Basketball Association's 2019–20 season. The 2020 NBA Bubble was the bio-secure bubble at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando, that was created by the National Basketball Association (NBA) to protect its players from the COVID-19 pandemic during the final eight games of the 2019–20 regular season and throughout the 2020 NBA playoffs.
