Jaylen Jerrold Sneed (born March 11, 2004) is an American college football linebacker for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Early life Sneed attended Hilton Head Island High School in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where he played quarterback and linebacker. In 2021, he was named South Carolina Mr. Football. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary).
