Jayden Gardner
Jayden David Darrel Gardner (born May 14, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Virginia Cavaliers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He previously played for the East Carolina Pirates. High school career Gardner played for Heritage High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina for four years. He averaged 22.9 points and 15.1 rebounds per game as a junior and was named CAP-8 Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-State, leading his team to a 28–2 record. As a senior, Gardner averaged 24.3 points and 13.9 rebounds per game. He led Heritage to the NCHSAA Class 4A state championship game, where he recorded 30 points and 13 rebounds. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. The Wichita State Shockers men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I college basketball program representing Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. The VMI Keydets basketball team represents the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, in the sport of men's college basketball. They compete in the Southern Conference of the NCAA Division I. They have played their home games in Cameron Hall since 1981. In basketball, a double-double is a single-game performance in which a player accumulates ten or more in two of the following five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots.
