Jayanandadeva
Jayanandadeva, also known as Jayananda Deva, () was the seventh king of Nepal after Arideva Malla, in which period the Malla dynasty was prominent. He succeeded Ananta Malla and reigned from 1313 to 1320. Early life Jayananda belonged to the House of Bhonta and was the son of Jayabhimadeva, the fourth king of Nepal. After the death of Jayabhimadeva, his first son and Jayananda's elder half-brother Jayadityadeva was the head of the Bhonta House. Jayadityadeva installed Ananta Malla on the throne and declared himself the heir apparent. Jayadityadeva then imprisoned Jayananda near Palanchok. After the former died in 1292, Jayananda was freed from prison only to be re-imprisoned by his nephew, Jayasaktideva. Jayari Malla
Jayari Malla, also known as Ari Malla II, () was a son of Ananta Malla and the eighth king of Nepal. Jayari succeeded Jayanandadeva and reigned as a powerless monarch from 1320 to 1344. Reign Background After the death of Ananta Malla in 1308, Rudra Malla, the de facto ruler of the valley, had installed Jayanandadeva of Bhonta House as king. In 1320, Rudra Malla withdrew support for Jayananda and deposed him. He installed Jayari Malla as the King in the same year. Jayari Malla exercised no real power and Rudra Malla was the ruling figure in the valley. The chronicles state that Jayari Malla ruled over the religious domain of the kingdom while Rudra Malla exercised complete sovereignty over the kingdom. Ananta Malla
Ananta Malla ( Nepali: अनन्त मल्ल) was the sixth Malla king of Nepal. He succeeded Jayasimha Malla and reigned from 1271 until his death in 1308. Reign The reign of Ananta Malla was full of conflicts and political unrest. He himself had sat on the throne after deposing Jayasimha Malla with the help of the House of Bhonta and the duration of his reign was filled with similar attempts against himself. Jayabhimadeva
Jayabhimadeva () was the fourth king of Nepal after Arideva Malla, in which period the Malla dynasty was prominent. He succeeded Jayadeva Malla and reigned from 1258 to 1271. Early life Jayabhimadeva, while not belonging to the Malla dynasty, was closely related with the same. He was a local lord in Banepa (then called ''Bhonta'') and had gained political power during the reigns of Abhaya Malla, and Jayadeva Malla. Gokarneshwor
Gokarneshwor is a municipality in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Sundarijal, Nayapati, Baluwa, Jorpati and Gokarna. The office of the municipality is that of the former Jorpati village development committee. The river Bagmati has its origin as the name Bagh Dwar situated in the middle of the Shivapuri jungle in this municipality. Nuwakot District (), a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the List of districts of Nepal, seventy-seven districts of Nepal.
