Jay Zeffin
Jay Zeffin is an English writer, producer and guitarist from the Southern rock band Jericho Summer, formed with his wife Vanessa Joy. Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Zeffin now lives on the island of Mallorca in Spain. Gathering together a supergroup of musicians to record their debut album ''Night Train'', the album went into the UK New Releases Chart at number 6 when it was released by Devil's Blade Records in August 2016, with Amazon UK selling out at the same time. History Zeffin and Joy had already been working in the music industry since meeting in 1995, and the ''Night Train'' album project resulted from a meeting of Zeffin and ex-Guns N' Roses rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin in 2012. Southern Rock
Southern rock is a subgenre of rock music and a genre of Americana. It developed in the Southern United States from rock and roll, country music, and blues and is focused generally on electric guitars and vocals. Author Scott B. John Marcangelo
John Marcangelo (born 1950, Whitehaven, Cumberland, England) is an English pianist, drummer and composer of folk rock. Early life He comes from The Valley in Whitehaven in Cumberland. He went to St Begh's Catholic School, (now a junior school) on Coach Road, Whitehaven. He is the son of an Italian barber. He started his life in music with a band called The Invaders, in Cumbria, after leaving school, when earlier intending to go to Carlisle Art College. He later went to Leeds College of Music and trained as a classical musician (pianist and percussionist) where he met the violinist Mik Kaminski. Musical composition After leaving college in Leeds, he went to London with Kaminski and drummer John Hodgson with their band called Cow, where Marcangelo played keyboard. Blackberry Smoke is an American rock band from Atlanta. The lineup consists of Charlie Starr (lead vocals, guitar), Richard Turner (bass, vocals), Brit Turner (drums), Paul Jackson (guitar, vocals), and Brandon Still (keyboards). Trent Willmon (born March 6, 1973) is an American country music artist, songwriter, and producer. Active since 1998 as a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Willmon was signed to Columbia Records in 2004. He released two albums for the label (2004's '' Trent Willmon'' and 2006's '' A Little More Livin''') and charted six singles on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts before exiting Columbia in 2006. "Clog Dance" was the first single released by Violinski, and became their only charting single. It was written by band member John Marcangelo, inspired by a shop in his town called Brew's which sold clogs. It reached number 17 on the UK Singles Chart and also became a big hit in the Netherlands. Having become a favourite amongst various brass bands, the tune was also used in the 1996 film ''Brassed Off''.
