''Jay Jay'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Saran (director), Saran. The film stars R. Madhavan, Priyanka Kothari, Amogha and Pooja Umashankar, Pooja, while Kalabhavan Mani, Charle, Dhamu and Malavika Avinash also play key supporting roles. Produced by V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films, Oscar Films, the film had music scored by Bharadwaj (composer), Bharadwaj and is based on Hollywood film Serendipity. Plot Jagan (R. Madhavan) is a carefree youth who stays with his friends in a room. He plays violin well and seeks every opportunity to help others, at the same time benefitting himself. K. V. Saravanan, better known as Saran, is an Indian film director active mainly in Tamil cinema. He was once an assistant to K. Balachander. He owns production house called ''Gemini Productions.'' Early life Saran's father T. Kulandaivelayudam worked with the directorate of examinations and many of his relatives are teachers. He finished diploma in visual communications from the College of Arts And Crafts and became an instructor in textile designing. Saran worked as instructor for a year and, during this time, he did some work with a lady called Mohana who was art director for K. Balachander. KB was the director whom Saran admired above all others. Saran hoped this relationship would be the key to get to him. Jeeva (21 September 1963 – 26 June 2007) was an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and film director in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam-language cinema. He was an established cinematographer in the late 90s and early 2000s. Career Jeeva started his career assisting cinematographer P. C. Sreeram in the films such as '' Nayakan'', '' Agni Natchathiram'', '' Apoorva Sagodharargal'', '' Idhaya Thamarai'', '' Gopura Vasalile'' and '' Meera''.
