Javi Eslava
Javier "Javi" Eslava Carrasco (born 14 June 1996) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Mérida AD. Mainly a forward, he can also play as a right winger. Career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Eslava represented UE Cornellà and CE L'Hospitalet as a youth. In 2016, after finishing his formation, he signed for Segona Catalana side CF Can Vidalet. Eslava helped Can Vidalet to achieve promotion to Primera Catalana in his first season, and remained a starter afterwards. In July 2019, he joined Tercera División side UE Vilassar de Mar. On 23 June 2021, Eslava was announced at UE Castelldefels in Tercera División RFEF. On 13 June 2023, after scoring 13 goals for the side, he moved to Segunda Federación side CE Europa. Segunda Federación, previously called Segunda RFEF, also officially known as Segunda B, is the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system containing 90 teams divided into five groups. It is administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It is the second tier outside the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and ''Segunda División'' (also known as Segunda División, La Liga 2), being behind ''Primera Federación'' and above ''Tercera Federación''.
