Javanrud County ( fa, شهرستان جوانرود) is in Kermanshah province, Iran, part of what is unofficially referred to as Iranian Kurdistan. The capital of the county is the city of Javanrud. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 62,259 in 13,629 households. The following census in 2011 counted 71,235 people in 17,854 households. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 75,169 in 20,592 households. Sarpol-e Zahab County ( fa, شهرستان سرپل ذهاب, ''Šaharestâne Sarpole Zahâb''; Sarpell-i zahaw ( Kurdish: سهرپێڵی زههاو, ''Serpêllî Zehaw'') is in Kermanshah province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Sarpol-e Zahab, whose people are adherents of Shia, Sunni and Yarsan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 81,428 in 18,233 households. The following census in 2011 counted 85,616 people in 21,677 households. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 85,342 in 23,696 households, by which time Jeygaran Rural District and Sarqaleh Rural District had been separated from Salas-e Babajani County to join Sarpol-e Zahab County. Paveh County
Paveh ( fa, Pâveh, ku, Pawe , پاوە, also Romanized as Pāveh, Pawah, and Pāweh) is a city and capital of Paveh County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. It is located in a region called Hawraman. The first language spoken by the population in the city is mostly Kurdish, but the language which is used in schools and offices is Persian, the official language of Iran in which almost everyone in the city is fluent. Iranian Kurdistan or Eastern Kurdistan ( ku, ڕۆژھەڵاتی کوردستان, translit=Rojhilatê Kurdistanê) is an unofficial name for the parts of northwestern Iran with either a majority or sizable population of Kurds.
