Jaume Plensa i Suñé (; born 23 August 1955) is a Spanish people, Catalan visual artist, sculptor, designer and engraver. He has also created opera sets, video projections and acoustic installations. Biography Plensa was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He left the studies of fine arts in Barcelona and continued to train in a self-taught way. Jaume Ferrer (, fl. 1346) was a Majorcan sailor and explorer. He sailed from Majorca on 10 August 1346 to find the legendary "River of Gold," but the outcome of his quest and his fate are unknown. He is memorialized in his native city of Palma, Majorca. Jaume Huguet
Jaume Huguet (; 1412–1492) was a Catalan painter. Originally from Valls, he moved to Tarragona to stay with his uncle Pere Huguet, who was also a painter. When they moved to Barcelona he was exposed to modern trends of the time. Between 1440 and 1445, he worked in Zaragoza and later in Tarragona, where he was influenced by the Flemish style of Luis Dalmau. He continued to paint into his mid 70s, till 1487. A retablo from Huguet is in the Monastery of Pedralbes, while another, depicting the ''Adoration of the Magi'' (or ''Epiphany'') is housed in the Chapel of St. Agatha in Barcelona's Palau Reial Major.
