Jassim Abdulaziz
Jassim Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Ahen (1/Jan/1963 – 1/Dec/2020) was a journalist and media personality in Qatar and other Arab Gulf countries. Early life and education Jassim Abdulaziz was born on 1 January 1963 in Al Jasrah (الجسرة), one of the oldest districts and neighborhoods in Doha, Qatar. He studied engineering at Qatar University, Doha. Jassim Abdulaziz had a passion for television broadcasting and aspired to work in this field from a young age and devoted a significant part of his life to taking care of his bedridden father and helping to raise his siblings after his father's death, which was reportedly among the reasons he remained unmarried throughout his life. Career Jassim Abdulaziz commenced his career as a news presenter in 1983. In addition to presenting the news, he also hosted cultural and sports programs. Qatar University
Qatar University (; transliterated: Jami'at Qatar) is a public research university located on the northern outskirts of Doha, Qatar. It is the only public university in the country. The university hosts twelve colleges – Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Law, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Pharmacy, College of Health Science, College of Medicine, College of Dental Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of nursing, and College of Sport Science. Al Jasrah
Al Jasrah () is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah. It hosts Souq Waqif, one of the largest souqs in Qatar. Other points of interest in the district include Souq Jaidah, the Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital, the Souq Waqif Horse Stables, Abdul Aziz Nasser Theatre, Waqif Art Centre, Al Koot Fort (also known as Doha Fort) and Doha Fort Museum. Qatar Media Corporation (formerly known as Qatar General Broadcasting and Television Corporation) is a public service broadcasting network in Qatar. History It was incorporated on 27 April 1997.
