Jasper Garvida
Jasper Garvida (born 3 January 1977) is a fashion designer. Born in the Philippines, he grew up in Canada before moving to London to study Fashion design, Fashion Design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design. He established his eponymous fashion label in September 2008, known for its bold, highly embellished womenswear. Jasper has swiftly established his reputation as a unique luxury designer with an emphasis on tailoring and feminine silhouettes. Garvida graduated from the prestigious Central St. Martins in 2004 with a BA honours in fashion design womenswear. His graduate collection Gala, Alice in Wonderland was reviewed by Hilary Alexander, Hillary Alexander, fashion director of the Telegraph, as a “dazzling debut” and he was selected by ID magazine as “one of the young designers to watch out for”.
