Jason Reeves (songwriter)
Jason Bradford Reeves (born July 1, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He grew up in Iowa City, Iowa before locating to California in 2005, where he began a long-standing working relationship with producer Mikal Blue and singer Colbie Caillat. He co-wrote many songs with Caillat, most notably the songs " Bubbly", " Realize" and "I Never Told You". "Bubbly" has been Reeves most successful work to date, hitting No. 1 on the '' Billboard'' Adult Contemporary charts, No. 5 on the Hot 100 and being certified Platinum (along with "Realize") by the RIAA. He has won awards from ASCAP. Reeves works as a solo artist and also as a co-writer with other artists, including Australian artist Lenka, with whom he wrote " The Show". He self-released four albums and an EP before he signed to major label Warner Bros. Records in 2008 with the help of Kara DioGuardi and released an album and an EP with the label. ''Hearts Are Magnets'' is the first EP of singer-songwriter Jason Reeves and his first published work with producer Mikal Blue. It was self-released in the US on February 14, 2006. History ''Hearts Are Magnets'' is the fourth overall release of artist Jason Reeves. After briefly attending college, Reeves kept pursuing music in his native Iowa City, Iowa and self-released three albums. Two of these albums, ''Makeshift Aircraft'' (2003) and ''The Nervous Mind Of Love'' (2004) were sold through online store cdbaby.com and at his shows. Record producer Mikal Blue discovered these albums through his manager, Anna Rambeau, whom herself found the CDs through cdbaby. Blue was interested in working with Reeves and invited him to California to record with him in his studio. A choir ( ; also known as a chorale or chorus) is a musical ensemble of singers. Choral music, in turn, is the music written specifically for such an ensemble to perform. Iowa City High School
Iowa City High School is a public high school in Iowa City, Iowa and is part of the Iowa City Community School District. The present high school was completed as part of the Public Works Projects started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to provide jobs. The first classes were held in the fall of 1939. The previous high school building, built in 1909, was converted to a junior high school after the new building opened. It was located where Mercy Medical Plaza now stands. The current building sits on a hill on the east side of Iowa City. The school motto is "The School that Leads." The Maytag Corporation is an American home and commercial appliance company owned by Whirlpool Corporation since April 2006. Company history The Maytag Washing Machine Company was founded in 1893 by businessman Frederick Maytag. In 1925, Maytag Washing Machine Company became Maytag, Inc.
