Jason Evert
Jason Evert is a Catholic Church, Catholic author and chastity speaker. He founded Totus Tuus Press and Chastity Project, an organization that promotes chastity primarily to high school and college students. Evert earned a Master of Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, with undergraduate degrees in theology and counseling, with a minor in philosophy. He is married to Crystallina Evert, who is also a chastity speaker and runs Women Made New Ministries. Crystallina is the author of the books ''Pure Womanhood'', ''How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul'', and the curriculum ''YOU: Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body''. Franciscan University Of Steubenville
Franciscan University of Steubenville is a private Franciscan university in Steubenville, Ohio. The university had 3,040 students as of fall 2019, including 2,317 students on campus, in 40 undergraduate and 8 graduate degree programs. The student body is 97 percent Catholic and the university claims to have the largest number of students majoring in theology, catechetics, and philosophy of any Catholic university in the United States. The school was established as the College of Steubenville in 1946 by the Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular at the request of Bishop Mussio, the first bishop of the Diocese of Steubenville. In 1974, Fr. Michael Scanlan, T.O.R., became president and began a series of major reforms to restore the school to its Catholic heritage. ''The Bakersfield Californian'' is a daily newspaper serving Bakersfield, California and surrounding Kern County in the state's San Joaquin Valley. History ''The Bakersfield Californian'' is the direct descendant of Kern County's first newspaper, ''The Weekly Courier'', which was first published on Aug. 18, 1866, in Havilah, California. Chastity
Chastity, also known as purity, is a virtue related to temperance. Someone who is ''chaste'' refrains either from sexual activity considered immoral or any sexual activity, according to their state of life. In some contexts, for example when making a vow of chastity, chastity means the same as celibacy. Etymology The words ''chaste'' and ''chastity'' stem from the Latin adjective ("cut off", "separated", "pure"). The words entered the English language around the middle of the 13th century. ''The News-Sentinel'' was a daily newspaper based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The afternoon ''News-Sentinel'' was politically independent. The papers suspended publication in November 2020, after the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic.
