Jason Anthony Day (born 12 November 1987) is an Australian professional golfer. Day had early success as a professional, earning PGA Tour membership in his teens and winning an event in his third season, the HP Byron Nelson Championship. In 2015, Day recorded his breakout season, winning five events including the 2015 PGA Championship, PGA Championship, a major championship, while ascending to #1 in the world. Day maintained exemplary play through 2016, winning three tournaments including The Players Championship and preserving his #1 ranking. Since that season, however, Day's play has been much more erratic and he ultimately fell outside of the top 100 in the world. Scott Gardiner
Scott Gardiner (born 22 March 1976) is an Australian professional golfer. Gardiner has played on the PGA Tour of Australasia and its developmental tour, the Von Nida Tour, where he won once. He played on the European Tour from 2001 to 2003. He played on the Nationwide Tour from 2003 to 2012, where he won the 2010 Chattanooga Classic. After the 2012 season, he graduated to the PGA Tour and made his Tour debut at the 2013 Sony Open in Hawaii. He made seven cuts in 23 events and finished 177th on both the money list and the FedEx Cup. He played the Web.com Tour Finals, finishing in eighth place to retain his PGA Tour card for 2014. The Queensland PGA Championship is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia. The tournament is currently held at Nudgee Golf Club in Nudgee. History The event was founded as the Queensland Professional Championship in 1926. The inaugural championship was played at Brisbane Golf Club in late November with 12 professionals competing. There was a 36-hole stroke-play stage with the leading 4 qualifying for the match-play. The 36-hole semi-finals were played the following day with the 36-hole final on the third day. Arthur Spence, the Royal Queensland professional, beat Jack Quarton, the Toowoomba professional, in the final. Callaway World Junior Championship
The IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships are held in San Diego, California, United States each year, currently in July and conducted by the San Diego Junior Golf Association. They include tournaments for six age groups ranging from under-6 to 15–17 and for both boys and girls. Each age group plays at a separate course, ranging from a par-3 course for the youngest to Torrey Pines for the 15–17s, which is also the venue for the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour and the site of the 2008 U.S. Open. The event was founded in 1968. The inaugural tournament numbered 475 entrants from 20 U.S. States and six other countries.
