Jason Chang (curler)
Jason Chang (born May 25, 1982) is a Hong Kong curling, curler, and is the current skip of the Hong Kong national men's team. Chang has represented Hong Kong as a skip of the national men's team in five Pacific-Asia Curling Championships (PACC), as well as the B-Division at the Pan Continental Curling Championships, which has replaced the PACC and includes teams from Pacific-Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Chang also skipped the Hong Kong men's team at their first appearance at the Curling at the 2025 Asian Winter Games, 2025 Asian Winter Games. Chang has twice competed at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with partner Ling-Yue Hung. The pair finished 27th at the 2018 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship and 38th at the 2019 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. Martin Yan (curler)
Martin Yan (; born 22 December 1948) is a Chinese-American chef and food writer. He has hosted his award-winning PBS, PBS-TV cooking show ''Yan Can Cook'' since 1982. Early years and education With ancestral roots in Kaiping, Hoiping, Yan was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, Republic of China (1912–1949), China to a restaurateur father and a grocer mother. Yan began to cook at the age of 12. When he was 13, he moved to Hong Kong, where he attended the Munsang College in Kowloon City. During this time in Munsang College, he worked at his uncle's Chinese restaurant and learned the traditional method of Chinese barbecue. He received a diploma from the Overseas Institute of Cookery of Hong Kong and later left for Canada for continued study. Ten years after his arrival in North America, Yan received a Master of Science degree in food science from University of California, Davis, in 1975. 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships
The 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships were held from October 29 to November 4 at the Kelowna Curling Club in Kelowna, British Columbia. The event was used to qualify teams for the 2024 World Curling Championships. Both men's and women's events consisted of an A Division and B Division. In the men's competition, the top five teams from the A Division (Canada, South Korea, Japan, the United States, New Zealand) secured qualification for the 2024 World Men's Curling Championship, which will be held in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Conversely, the team ranked lowest in the A Division (Guyana) was being relegated to the B Division in the following year. 2022 Pan Continental Curling Championships
The inaugural Pan Continental Curling Championships were held from October 31 to November 6 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The event was used to qualify teams for the 2023 World Curling Championships. The event featured both an A Division and a B Division for both the men's and women's. This new championship combined the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships and the Americas Challenge into one event. 2019 World Mixed Curling Championship
The 2019 World Mixed Curling Championship was held from 12 to 19 October in Aberdeen, Scotland. In the final, Canada's Colin Kurz defeated Germany's Andy Kapp 6-5. It was Canada's second consecutive title at the World Mixed, having won in 2018. It was also Germany's first spot on the podium, having never made it past the quarterfinals in past years.
