Jasnih bin Daya (born 13 September 1974) is a Malaysian politician who is serving as the State Assistant Minister. He has served as the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pantai Dalit since September 2020. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) which is aligned with the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition both in federal and state levels. The Heritage Party ( ms, Parti Warisan or Warisan) is a multi-racial political party in Malaysia which was rebranded and renamed from the Sabah Heritage Party ( ms, Parti Warisan Sabah), a Sabah-based party led by Shafie Apdal formed earlier on 17 October 2016 after its expansion into national level politics at the end of 2021. Bajau People
The Sama-Bajau include several Austronesian ethnic groups of Maritime Southeast Asia. The name collectively refers to related people who usually call themselves the Sama or Samah (formally A'a Sama, "Sama people"); or are known by the exonym Bajau (, also spelled Badjao, Bajaw, Badjau, Badjaw, Bajo or Bayao). They usually live a seaborne lifestyle and use small wooden sailing vessels such as the ''perahu'' (''layag'' in Meranau), '' djenging'' (''balutu''), '' lepa'', and '' vinta'' (''pilang''). The Liberal Democratic Party ( ms, Parti Liberal Demokratik) (; abbrev: LDP) is a Chinese political party founded in the town of Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia by Hiew Min Kong in 1989.
