Jarrett Kingston
Jarrett Kingston (born December 2, 1999) is an American professional football guard for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington State and USC and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft. Early life Kingston was born in and grew up in Northern California. He attended Anderson Union High School where he was a standout two-way lineman in football and also won a discus throw championship. He was called up from the junior varsity football team at age 15 and then helped the team reach the NSCIF Division III playoffs as a junior while being named first-team All-CIF Northern Section. He then earned All-NorCal honors as a senior. He committed to play college football for the Washington State Cougars as a three-star prospect. The discus throw (), also known as disc throw, is a track and field event in which an athlete throws a heavy disc—called a discus—in an attempt to mark a farther distance than their competitors. Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and defense. COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Washington State Cougars
The Washington State Cougars (known informally as the Cougs) are the athletic teams that represent Washington State University. Located in Pullman, Washington, WSU is a member of the Pac-12 Conference in NCAA Division I. United States In the United States education, a senior is a student in the fourth year of study, either in high school or college/university.
