Jarrah McCleary
Panama is an electronic musical project from Sydney, Australia. Panama formed after Jarrah McClearys previous band, The Dirty Secrets came to an end. Panama has allowed McCleary to experiment musically and develop a more electronic, house influenced style. Panama has seen band members come and go, but is spearheaded by Jarrah McCleary (lead vocals, keyboard, guitar), Tim Commandeur (drums) and Tom Marland (keyboard, guitar). Panama's second EP ''Always'' (2014) nabbed the band spots on BBC Radio 1, Triple J's iconic Hottest 100 and has had millions of plays on SoundCloud. The band recorded an EP in Los Angeles and embarked on tours around the world including playing at SXSW in 2014 and Primavera Festival in 2015. In 2015, Panama partnered with iconic swimwear brand, Seafolly, to featuring the brands latest design's in the music video for their single, Stay Forever. Petit Biscuit
Mehdi Benjelloun (born 10 November 1999), known by his stage name Petit Biscuit (), is a French DJ and music producer. The 25-year-old French-Moroccan producer is known for his distinctive style, forged through combining acoustic elements, electronic production, and vocal manipulations. The eclecticism of this combination is reflective of his background in the polar spheres of electronica and classical music. Poolside (band)
Poolside is an American nu-disco and chillwave band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2011 by Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic (Nikolic left the project in 2017). The band currently consists of Jeffrey Paradise with additional touring members of Vito Roccoforte ( the Rapture), Mattie Safer (the Rapture), Alton Allen, and Casey Butler (Pharaohs). The band has performed at high-profile festivals like FYF (2013), Primavera Sound (2013), and Coachella (2014). Poolside took a four-year break from touring, before returning in 2018 with their current lineup. Seafolly has stores located in Australia, United States and Singapore, and over 2700 stockists worldwide. Seafolly was founded in 1975 by Peter and Yvonne Halas. Primavera Festival
Primavera Sound (commonly referred to as Primavera) is an annual music festival held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, during late May and early June. It was founded in 2001 by Pablo Soler as "a showcase for Spanish noise bands", originally held at the Poble Espanyol before moving to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. It is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean. South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas. The Triple J Hottest 100 is an annual music poll presented by the publicly-funded Australian youth radio station Triple J. Members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite Music of Australia, Australian and alternative music of the year in an online poll conducted two weeks prior to the new year. The first countdown in 1989 was held in March, and then on various days in January and February until 1998 when it was mostly consistently held on Australia Day.
