Jaron Ennis
Jaron Ennis ( ; born June 26, 1997) is an American professional boxer and unified welterweight champion, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight title since 2023 and the World Boxing Association (WBA) ( Super version) and ''Ring magazine'' titles since April 2025. As an amateur, he won a silver and gold medal at the U.S. National Golden Gloves Championships in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Professional career Early career Ennis made his professional debut on April 30, 2016, defeating Cory Muldrew via first-round knockout (KO) at the Dixie Center in St. George, Utah. National Golden Gloves
The Golden Gloves of America is an organization that promotes annual competitions of amateur boxing in the United States, in which winners are awarded a belt and a ring, and the title of national champion. The organization currently owns 30 franchises. The World Boxing Organization (WBO) is an organization which sanctions professional boxing bouts. Dignity Health Sports Park (tennis)
The Dignity Health Sports Park is a tennis center in Carson, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is adjacent to the soccer stadium of the same name, which is home to the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS). The venue hosted the LA Women's Tennis Championships, a WTA Premier tournament, from 2003 to 2009. During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the venue will host the tennis competition. Custio Clayton (born October 5, 1987) is a Canadian professional boxer who has held the WBA- NABA welterweight title since 2019. As an amateur he is a six-time Canadian national champion and represented Canada at 2 commonwealth games and the 2012 Olympics, where he reached the quarter-finals. He began boxing at the age of 9 with his uncle Gary Johnson. Amateur career Clayton began training at his great-uncle's gym, City of Lakes Boxing Club in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and fought his first amateur bout at the age of 11. Thomas Dulorme Cordero ( ; born January 29, 1990) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer who challenged for the WBO light welterweight title in 2015. Early life and amateur career Dulorme was born on the island of Saint Martin and lived there until the age of 3, when his family moved to Puerto Rico. His father is a native of Saint Martin, and his mother is of Puerto Rican descent. Chris van Heerden (born 19 June 1987) is a South African former professional boxer and a former IBO welterweight champion. Early life Van Heerden grew up in Meyerton, Gauteng. Professional career Van Heerden started his professional career in 2006. He quickly emerged as a top fighter in the African continent, which he subsequently proved by snapping South African and ABU welterweight titles.
