Jarlath Conroy
Jarlath Conroy (born 30 September 1944) is an Irish theatre, film and television actor. Since 1971, he has become a successful actor appearing in film and television, including ''NYPD Blue'', ''Law & Order'', and ''Law & Order: Criminal Intent''. He also appeared in the movies '' Day of the Dead'' and '' The Art of Getting By''. He is also the voice actor of Seamus in ''John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles'' and Aiden O'Malley in Rockstar Games's '' Grand Theft Auto IV''. In 2016 The Yale Repertory Theatre mounted a production of Samuel Beckett's '' Happy Days'' with Jarlath Conroy as "Willie" opposite Dianne Wiest as "Winnie", it was directed by James Bundy. The production subsequently transferred to Downtown Brooklyn, New York's Theatre for a New Audience with Wiest and Conroy reprising their roles in April & May 2017. Theatre For A New Audience
The Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA) is a non-profit theater in New York City focused on producing Shakespeare and other classic dramas. Its off-Broadway productions have toured in the U.S. and internationally. History Theatre for a New Audience was founded in 1979 by Jeffrey Horowitz with the mission of creating contemporary productions of Shakespeare and other works considered classics in the theatrical canon that would appeal to more diverse audiences. TFANA moved to a new building in 2013 at 262 Ashland Place in Brooklyn, New York. The theatre is named Polonsky Shakespeare Center. ''The Knick'' is an American medical period drama television series on Cinemax created by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler and directed by Steven Soderbergh. The series follows Dr. John W. Thackery (Clive Owen) and the staff at a fictionalized version of the Knickerbocker Hospital (the Knick) in New York during the early twentieth century.
