List Of WDF Tournaments
The World Darts Federation recognise many darts tournaments each year including major titles such as the BDO World Darts Championship, Lakeside World Professional Championship and the Winmau World Masters. Through 2007, the WDF had held four majors which constituted the Grand Slam, until the International Darts League, Topic International Darts League and World Darts Trophy, Bavaria World Darts Trophy were cancelled in 2008 following the withdrawal of the Dutch broadcasters SBS 6, when it was announced that Professional Darts Corporation, PDC players, including Raymond van Barneveld, Jelle Klaasen, and Michael van Gerwen would not be competing. In 2020, the WDF took over the running of the World Championship and World Masters from the BDO. To coincide with this, they updated their ranking criteria and the WDF World Rankings. The British Darts Organisation organised many darts tournaments each year including Major titles such as the Lakeside World Professional Championship and the Winmau World Masters until its demise in September 2020. The Tournaments listed below were recognised BDO ranking events for the BDO Invitational Table point allocation system that determined players qualification for its Major tournament finals. The BDO's own tournaments are in bold. is a Japanese darts player. She was a two-time back-to-back British Darts Organisation (BDO) women's world champion. Fallon Suzanne Michelle Sherrock (born 2 July 1994) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events; she has won ninteen Women's Series titles and the 2022 Women's World Matchplay. Berry van Peer (born 23 August 1996) is a Dutch darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He formerly competed in World Darts Federation (WDF) events, winning his first WDF major title at the 2023 Dutch Open and winning the Swedish Masters and WDF World Cup Singles the same year. Van Peer has previously competed in the PDC's secondary tour, the Challenge Tour, winning one title in 2019 and four in 2023.
