Janusz Niedźwiedź (born 23 January 1982) is a Polish professional football manager and former player who was most recently in charge of Ekstraklasa club Stal Mielec. He has played in and managed in I liga. In the summer of 2020, he was appointed manager of A Lyga club FK Riteriai, but left after one week citing "personal and administrative" reasons. KS Górnik Polkowice is a Polish football club based in Polkowice, Poland. The club currently plays in III liga which is the fourth tier of Polish football. They competed in the top tier for one season in 2003–04. History KS Górnik Polkowice were founded in 1947. From 2003 until 2004, Górnik played their only season in Ekstraklasa, the top tier of Polish football. FKS Stal Mielec, commonly known as Stal Mielec (), is a Polish professional football club based in Mielec. The team competes in the I liga, the second level of the Polish football league system. The club was established on 10 April 1939. Historically, the club has enjoyed great success within Poland's top division, winning the title in 1973 and 1976, but had undergone significant management changes and financial difficulties within the past two decades, which prevented the club from participation in the Poland's top league. 2020–21 II Liga
The 2020–21 II liga was the 73rd season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 13th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The league was contested by 19 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season started on 28 August 2020 and concluded on 12 June 2021 (regular season). Each team played a total of 36 matches, half at home and half away. After the 18th matchday the league went on a winter break between 17 December 2020 and 26 February 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 120 matches have been played with a limited number of spectators. The rest of the matches (until 17 October 2020 and on 16 May 2021) were played behind closed doors without any spectators. III liga, group IV is one of the four groups of III liga, which are competitions of the fourth tier of the Polish football league system. This group was established in 2016, when, after the 2015–16 season, as a result of the reorganization of the III liga in Poland, group VII was merged with group VIII. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). II Liga
II liga (Druga liga, ), currently named Betclic II liga due to its sponsorship by Betclic, is a Polish football league that sits at the third tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season, ''II Liga'' referred to a league at the 2nd tier, although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. Currently, II liga is below I liga and above III liga. Since the 2014–15 season, the league consists of a single division, unlike previous seasons when it was divided into two groups, ''West'' and ''East''. The league consists of 18 teams. The top two finishers are rewarded with automatic promotion to the I liga, while the teams ranked third to sixth face each other in promotion play-offs. The Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF; ) is the governing body of football in Lithuania. The Federation is responsible for football development in the country and for the national teams, including the Lithuania national football team. It is based in Vilnius. The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) (). History The first football league was established in Lithuania in 1924, and in various forms existed until 1939. Due to the Polish–Lithuanian War, clubs from Vilnius did not take part in early period of the Lithuanian football competitions. Later during the period of Soviet occupation, a Lithuanian amateur top division existed, while professional players played in USSR football competitions.
