Jane Marriott
Jane Marriott (born 1976 in Doncaster, England) is a British diplomat. Marriott was the Director of the Joint International Counter-Terrorism Unit. She is currently now appointed as British High commissioner to Pakistan in 2023.She was appointed the British High Commissioner to Kenya, and began her consular duties in the Summer of 2019. Marriott graduated from Durham University in 1997 with a first-class degree in History, and went on to complete an MPhil in International Relations at Darwin College, Cambridge. Career From 2013 to 2015 she was British Ambassador to Yemen. Marriott formerly served as an adviser to Richard Holbrooke during his time as a Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Ms Mariott was appointed the British High Commissioner to Kenya, an announcement made on 13 June 2019 and took up the role from Mr. Nic Hailey. She was the first female UK High Commissioner to Kenya. Edmund Walter Fitton-Brown (born 5 October 1962) is a British diplomat who is currently a Monitoring Team Coordinator with the United Nations. From February 2015 to February 2017, he served as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen. Nicholas Hopton
Nicholas Dunster Hopton (born 8 October 1965) is a British diplomat who was the head of the UK embassy in Libya. Hopton was educated at St Peter's School, York and Magdalene College, Cambridge. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1989 and served in Paris, Rome and Rabat. He worked on the national security team at the Cabinet Office and was Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Europe. He assumed his first ambassadorial position as Ambassador to Yemen from 2012 to 2013, before serving as Ambassador to Qatar between 2013 and 2015. In December 2015 he was appointed British chargé d'affaires in Iran.
