Jane Kennedy (actor)
Jane Kennedy (born 9 June 1964) is an Australian actress, radio presenter and television producer, best known for her work with Working Dog Productions, a group of performers responsible for a variety of television and films. She previously was a co-host of ''KennedyMolloy'' on Triple M with Mick Molloy. Career She met the other members of the group, which over time included Tom Gleisner, Rob Sitch, Santo Cilauro, Tony Martin, Mick Molloy, and Jason Stephens, while working on Melbourne commercial radio on the ''D-Generation Breakfast Show''. Kennedy was not originally a member of the group, but was the newsreader assigned to work with them during their timeslot. The team quickly made a game of trying to make her laugh while she read the news. Their frequent success led to Kennedy joining the D-Generation as a full-time member and she continued to work with them on the radio show. ''Get This'' was an Australian radio comedy show which aired on Triple M and was hosted by Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee, with contributions from panel operator, Richard Marsland. A different guest co-host was featured nearly every day on the show and included music played throughout. On the 15 October 2007 episode, the ''Get This'' team announced that Triple M/Austereo would not be renewing the show for 2008. The final broadcast was on 23 November 2007. ''Thank God You're Here'' is an Australian television improvised comedy program created by Working Dog Productions, which premiered on 5 April 2006 on Network 10, where it aired for the first three and from the fifth season onwards; the fourth season aired on the Seven Network. Each episode involves performers walking through a door into an unknown situation, greeted by the line "Thank God you're here!". They then have to improvise their way through the scene. At the end of each episode a winner is announced. It was the most successful new show in Australia of 2006, attracting an average of 1.7 million viewers after the first few episodes. The show was originally hosted by Shane Bourne and judged by Tom Gleisner.
