Jan Ove Pedersen
Jan Ove Pedersen (born 12 November 1968) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He was manager of SC Bregenz in the Austrian Regional League, the third-highest division in Austrian football, until his sacking on 28 October 2007. During his playing career, he turned out for Lillestrøm and Brann of Norway, Cercle Brugge and SW Bregenz of Austria, as well as a loanspell at the English club Hartlepool United. Playing career As a player, Pedersen was a holding midfielder. His performances between 1990 and 1994 at Lillestrøm brought him international recognition. From there he signed for Brann in 1996, in a deal which saw Frank Strandli go the other way. Pedersen was a hugely popular player, especially at Hartlepool United. Despite only making 20 appearances (scoring three goals) whilst on loan from Brann, he would be one of the first names on any supporter's All Time XI for the club. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Bregenz
Bregenz (; gsw, label= Vorarlbergian, Breagaz ) is the capital of Vorarlberg, the westernmost state of Austria. The city lies on the east and southeast shores of Lake Constance, the third-largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, between Switzerland in the west and Germany in the northwest. Austrian Regional League West
The Austrian Regional League West (german: Regionalliga West) was a third-tier division of Austrian football introduced in the 1980–81 season as successor of the ''Alpenliga''. It covered the Austrian states of Salzburg, Tyrol (excepting East Tyrol) and Vorarlberg and was one of three leagues at this level. 2019–20 reformation Due to high travel costs, the Vorarlberg and Tyrol clubs decide to form their own Elite ligas, forcing Salzburg to do so as well. The Eliteliga will be divided in a Regionalliga Salzburg, Regionalliga Tirol and Eliteliga Vorarlberg in the fall with 10 clubs each. Vorarlbergliga
The Vorarlbergliga is the highest football league of the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It's the fourth highest football league in Austria. Exclusively limited to teams of the Vorarlberg Football Association (german: Vorarlberger Fussballverband, VFV). Vorarlbergliga was part of the 4th highest level which called Austrian Landesliga. However, inside Vorarlberg state, Landesliga was the name of the fifth-tier which teams of Vorarlbergliga relegated to. Mode The league consists of 16 teams. In each season, each club plays against each other club in one home and one away match. A season is therefore made up of 30 games. The champion of the Vorarlbergliga is entitled to move up to the third-tier, the Regionalliga West. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, ' betting pool'),Most precisely, from ( football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. Hartlepool United
Hartlepool United Football Club is a professional association football club based in Hartlepool, County Durham, England. The team competes in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. They were founded in 1908 as Hartlepools United Football Athletic Company. West Hartlepool won the FA Amateur Cup in 1905 and after the club was dissolved in 1910 its assets and liabilities were subsequently taken over by Hartlepools United, who were then playing in the North Eastern League. Frank Strandli
Frank Strandli (born 16 May 1972) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Strandli was recognised as a fast and physically strong striker. After success in IK Start, he signed for league champions Leeds United in 1993 and scored on his debut, coming off the bench against Middlesbrough. Still, he was not able to hold down a regular first team place. He had been loaned to IK Start from May to July 1993, and in 1994 he was loaned to SK Brann, signing a permanent deal ahead of the 1995 season. After this earned success in Lillestrøm SK, scoring 15 times in 38 league games. This earned him a move to the Greek top club Panathinaikos. His last professional club was AaB before he was forced to retire due to a groin injury. During his injury spell he received guidance from mental coach Christian M. Larsen.
