Jan Mazoch
Jan Mazoch (born 5 September 1985) is a Czech former ski jumper. He became a regular member of the Czech national team in 2003. Mazoch was a member of the Czech delegation at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. He is the grandson of legendary ski-jumper Jiří Raška. He has one daughter, Viktoria, born on 20 June 2007. Career Mazoch made his ski competition debut in the World Cup competition held on 13 March 2002 in Falun, Sweden. That same year, he competed in the Junior World Championships, where he placed 9th. He also took part in the Ski Flying World Championships. In his Winter Olympic Games debut at Salt Lake City, he placed 35th. In December 2002, Mazoch finished 3rd in the Czech Republic championship behind Jan Matura and Lukáš Kubáň. In the 2003 World Championships in Val di Fiemme, Italy, Mazoch was part of the Czech team which finished eighth in the team large hill event. Čeladná
Čeladná is a municipality and village in the Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,900 inhabitants. Geography Čeladná is located about south of Frýdek-Místek and south of Ostrava. It lies in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range. The highest point is the Smrk mountain at above sea level. The municipality is situated in the valley of the Čeladenka stream. History The first written mention of Čeladná is from 1581. The spa and rehabilitation centre were founded here in 1902. Czech Radio
Czech Radio (, ČRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest national radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second-oldest in Europe after the BBC. Lift (force)
When a fluid flows around an object, the fluid exerts a force on the object. Lift is the Euclidean_vector#Decomposition_or_resolution, component of this force that is perpendicular to the oncoming flow direction. It contrasts with the drag (physics), drag force, which is the component of the force parallel to the flow direction.
