Anand Nyamagouda
Anand Nyamagouda (born 1983) is an Indian politician and agriculturist who serves as the chairman of Jamakhandi Sugars Ltd. He is the son of the late Siddu Nyamagouda, a senior Congress leader and former Minister of State for Coal in the Government of India. Anand was elected to the 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election as the Indian National Congress candidate for the Jamkhandi constituency in the 2018 election and served as the Leader of the Opposition from 4–21 March 2021. The 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election was held on 12 May 2018 in 222 constituencies to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The election was postponed in Jayanagar, Bangalore, Jayanagar and Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, following the death of the MLA B. N. Siddu Nyamagouda
Siddu Nyamagouda (1950-2018), also known as Barrage Siddu, was an Indian politician who served as the Minister of State for Coal in the Government of India. He also held the position of MLC and was elected twice as Member of the Legislative Assembly to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in 2013 and 2018 from the Jamakhandi constituency in Bagalkote district. 2013 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Election
The 2013 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election was held on 5 May 2013 to elect members from 223 constituencies in the Indian state of Karnataka. The election for the Piriyapatna constituency was postponed to 28 May 2013 due to the death of the BJP candidate for the seat. The voter turnout in the state was 70.23%. 2008 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Election
The 2008 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election took place in three phases on 10, 16 and 22 May 2008 in all the 224 assembly constituencies in Karnataka, India. The elections were conducted to elect a Government in the state of Karnataka for the next five years. Siddu Savadi (born 22 July 1959) is an Indian politician from Karnataka. He has served three terms in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Terdal Assembly constituency which is in Bagalkot district.
